Al Gore noticed that the areas that were supposed to have gentle waves had hot and dry sand instead. He felt as if the world was out of place. He found out that in Arizona, temperatures were as high as 122ยบ F.
The Aral Sea, once the fourth largest inland sea in the world, now became empty and hot like a desert.
Gore describes that many of the White Sea deaths were caused by radioactive military waste.
